SHAMOKIN – Two people are homeless after a fire in Shamokin Saturday…the three-story home on south Seventh Street was damaged by the fire reported just before 4pm. The blaze went to two alarms while crews worked for hours making sure there were no hotspots. The home was heavily damaged.

Lewisburg, Pa. — Construction is moving along on a new Wawa convenience store and gas station on Route 15 in Kelly Township. All approvals have been completed by Wawa and they are moving along with site prep work, according to an email from David Hassenplug, chairman of the Kelly Township Board of Supervisors. Shots were fired during what police are describing as a road rage incident Saturday evening along Interstate 80 in the Poconos.
