2026 Penn State football class leader makes recruiting pitch to No. 1 player in PA
This weekend is massive for the Penn State football team. As the Nittany Lions will host the annual Lasch Bash, with dozens of top recruits making their way to Happy Valley. One of those players who will step on campus this weekend is a current 2026 recruiting class commit Messiah Mickens. On Thursday evening, he made a recruiting pitch on social media to the No. 1 player in PA, Kevin Brown.

Milton fugitive caught in Montgomery with methamphetamine pipe
Montgomery, Pa. — Troopers spotted a drug pipe while speaking with a woman wanted by state police in Milton. Belinda Marie Sepkoski, 50, was taken into custody this week when police spotted the pipe with methamphetamine residue in her bag, Trooper Bryan Carlson wrote in an affidavit. Sepkoski was stopped in the parking lot of the Uni-Mart on South Main Street in Montgomery after troopers realized she was wanted on multiple arrest warrants, Carlson added. Sepkoski is being charged with possession of drug paraphernalia. Sepkoski is facing retail theft and receiving stolen property charges in Union County, according to court records. Docket sheet
