Abingdon Theatre Company's ROBIN & ME: MY LITTLE SPARK OF MADNESS to Tour PA
As we near the ten-year anniversary of Robin Williams' passing on August 11th, Abingdon Theatre Company's ROBIN & ME: MY LITTLE SPARK OF MADNESS, which had its award-winning Off-Broadway Premiere in the spring of 2023, will continue its journey in honoring Robin Williams' legacy at theatres across Pennsylvania. Playwright & Actor Dave Droxler with Director Chad Austin will start off at Hedgerow Theatre Company from October 9-27, 2024 and will continue onto PPU Pittsburgh Playhouse in January of 2025, where these wonderful companies will produce new versions of the piece.
Northern lights possible this week, but timing and clouds are against us
The weekend’s Canadian air offered a refreshing reprieve from last weeks oppressive heat and humidity. Temperatures fell into the 40s in some locations! The slight haze in the sky over the weekend was courtesy of smoke from Canadian wildfires. There was even a heavy burst of snow shortly after sunset Sunday evening in Stroudsburg at the annual Mady’s Snow Day festival!
Logan Steele Reflects on Freshman Year and Sets High Goals for Sophomore Season
Logan Steele, a standout athlete from Shamokin High School, made an impressive debut during his freshman year. Listed at 5-foot-10 and 155 pounds, Steele's versatility on the field saw him starting as both quarterback and free safety. He accounted for 960 all-purpose yards on offense, made 79 total tackles, intercepted five passes, and forced one fumble on defense.
