One person has died in Lake County following a morning collision between a Metra train and a vehicle. According to the Lake County Sheriff’s Office, the accident occurred in Ingleside, near the intersection of Wilson Road and Larkin Lane.

3 women arrested after string of Lululemon thefts in Lake Forest
LAKE FOREST, Ill. - Three women have been arrested in connection with a series of retail theft incidents at the Lululemon store in Lake Forest. On June 7, two female offenders entered the Lululemon in Market Square at 680 N. Western Ave, collected several items of women's clothing, and exited without paying. Approximately $2,800 worth of merchandise was allegedly stolen by Cassandra C. King, 32, of Chicago, and a female accomplice.
Playwrights to Debut New Works As Part Of Waukegan Theatre Festival
Since last fall, Three Brothers Theatre in Waukegan, Illinois has been supporting a residency of playwrights developing new plays through monthly online meetings. Now, as part of a revamped Waukegan Theatre Festival, they're ready to showcase these works with a weekend long reading series. Resident playwrights include Lyra Nalan, Adrienne Dawes, Ron Anahaw, Marjorie Muller, Chase Wheaton-Werle, and Zach Barr. The residency was facilitated by fellow playwright Zack Peercy.
Cleanup underway after widespread storm damage in Chicagoland
Several tornadoes reportedly touched down across the Chicago area Monday night. Fox 32's Roseanne Tellez made the trip out to Norridge where a massive tree landed on a home. From Chicago's city center all the way out to the Northwest Side there was a debris field with several downed branches and tree limbs.
