Lake Como Mayor's Annual Bash Draws Strong Support, Honors Local Heroes

LAKE COMO, NJ – Mayor Kevin Higgins hosted another successful annual Mayor’s Bash at Bar Anticipation , drawing strong support from the community last Thursday, July 18th. The event, which honored local businesses and residents, raised funds for an important park in town.

Mayor Higgins expressed his gratitude to attendees and sponsors, stating, “I want to thank everyone who purchased a ticket, who attended, and especially our sponsors including our partner sponsors, Bar Anticipation and Joe’s Surf Shack . All the proceeds will directly impact the youth and citizens of Lake Como in the surrounding areas. We are looking forward to seeing more improvements to Behrmann Park.”

The event also celebrated local achievements, with La Sierra being named Business of the Year, and Tony and Frankie Jones receiving the Citizens of the Year 2020 award. The community's enthusiastic turnout and support underscored the strong local spirit and commitment to making Lake Como a better place for everyone.
