Vikings re-sign Darrisaw, Tickets on sale Thursday
(Eagan, MN) — The Vikings are rewarding their starting left tackle with a hefty new contract. E-S-P-N is reporting that Minnesota is signing Christian Darrisaw to a four-year, 113-million dollar extension. The deal includes 77-million dollars in total guarantees and 43.7-million guaranteed at signing. The 25-year-old had two years remaining on his rookie deal and is now signed with the team through the 2029 season. The Vikings selected Darrisaw in the first round of the 2021 N-F-L Draft. He has started 39 games over the past three seasons. He will be with his teammates today at T-C-O Performance Center in Eagan as Training Camp officially gets underway. While today’s session is closed, Saturday will be the first of nine practices that will be open to the public. The first preseason game is Saturday, August 10th against the Raiders at U.S. Bank Stadium.
