    A problematic U-Haul truck and prank 911 calls: Lake Oswego's police log

    ACCIDENTS

    2/3 6:54 p.m. Two vehicles collided near Boones Ferry Road and Monroe Parkway. No one was injured but the drivers were arguing with each other.

    2/4 3:59 p.m. An hit-and-run accident was reported near the 6300 block of Alyssa Terrace. No one was injured.

    THEFT

    2/2 1:30 p.m. An electric gate component was reported stolen near the 17700 block of Jean Way.

    2/3 4:16 Theft was reported at a store near the 400 block of A Avenue.

    2/3 5:58 p.m. A man stole four cases of beer near the 90 block of B Avenue.

    STOLEN VEHICLES

    FRAUD

    2/2 6:49 p.m. Fraud of an undisclosed nature was reported.

    2/4 2:14 p.m. A resident said they were scammed on the phone and provided their debit card information to the person who called.

    MISC.

    2/2 8:19 a.m. A DUII was reported near Boones Ferry Road and Knaus Road.

    2/2 8:36 a.m. A homicide was reported at an undisclosed location.

    2/2 9:43 a.m. A caller said a man was walking in the middle of the road near Westview Drive and Southshore Boulevard and looked like he was in a daze.

    2/2 10:01 a.m. Someone said their sister was being cyberbullied by a fellow student.

    2/2 12:59 p.m. A resident said they believed their siblings were attempting to financially abuse their parents.

    2/2 1:16 p.m. A caller said they left their kids alone, which was fine and something they did often, but this time they noticed a man sitting in a vehicle they didn’t recognize and thought this was weird.

    2/2 3:16 p.m. A resident said their daughter’s social media was hacked and some nude photos were sent out.

    2/2 4:31 p.m. Someone wanted to report their ex-wife for fraud and harassment through text and email.

    2/2 4:43 p.m. A child prank called the police and officers spoke to their parents about it.

    2/2 8:46 p.m. A suspicious looking vehicle was seen near the 1700 block of Oak Street.

    2/2 10:39 p.m. A “strange van” with multiple computer screens inside it and “get smart” written on the back was parked near the 4100 block of Douglas Way.

    2/3 10:39 a.m. An injured deer was seen near the 300 block of Oswego Pointe Drive.

    2/3 10:56 a.m. A caller said their ex was served with eviction papers and they needed advice for how to handle the situation, which involved the ex being on probation and using substances.

    2/3 11:18 a.m. A domestic incident was reported.

    2/3 12:39 p.m. Someone had questions about using a cell phone in their car.

    2/3 12:58 p.m. A dog was attacking other dogs at a park near the 15700 block of Waluga Drive.

    2/3 1:56 p.m. Someone wanted to talk to an officer about dogs that kept barking near the 4800 block of Lower Drive.

    2/3 2:56 p.m. A man was seen taking measurements at a park “like he worked for parks and rec” and then taking pictures of kids near the 1500 block of Greentree Road. He left after being confronted.

    2/3 5:07 p.m. A man was walking with a dirt bike near Washington Court and Bonaire Avenue, and when two women walked past he covered his face “like he was hiding.”

    2/3 7:12 p.m. A resident said he got in an argument with his wife and she drove away, and he thought she might have been in an accident but couldn’t say why. He eventually found his wife.

    2/3 11:48 p.m. A caller said they heard six gunshots near the 5000 block of Foothills Road. They may have also been fireworks.

    2/4 12:23 a.m. Someone said their upstairs neighbor was making a lot of noise near the 600 block of 1st Street.

    2/4 7:32 a.m. A resident said a woman came up to his house and was crying, then asked for help getting warm near the 17700 block of Pilkington Road. The woman then walked away toward Plaid Pantry.

    2/4 9:57 a.m. Someone was worried because they couldn’t reach their wife. They later got in touch with her.

    2/4 11:03 a.m. A caller said a man looked like he was on drugs and needed to be checked on near 8th Street and Evergreen Road.

    2/4 11:11 a.m. A man said he wanted to pick up a pocket knife that officers had taken from him.

    2/4 11:20 a.m. A caller said they were being harassed by email from a former partner.

    2/4 12:55 p.m. Someone said they previously reported harassment by their ex-wife and it was continuing.

    2/4 1:22 p.m. A suspicious looking vehicle was “stopping and going” near the 1400 block of Greentree Circle.

    2/4 4:08 p.m. Four kids were riding e-bikes on a baseball field near the 15500 block of Quarry Road.

    2/4 4:30 p.m. Someone said they’d just moved to Lake Oswego and had a U-Haul truck parked on the street for the night, but their neighbors told them this was illegal.

    2/4 5:56 p.m. A woman was hanging partially out of a car with its door open near the 90 block of B Avenue.

    2/4 7:06 p.m. A DUII was reported near Highway 217 and Bangy Road.

    2/4 7:08 p.m. A caller said they were bitten by a dog and had questions about next steps.

    2/4 9:42 p.m. Someone wanted to speak with an officer about bullying they’d been experiencing for a couple of years while boarding horses in Wilsonville.

    2/5 12:20 a.m. A bang and “shifting sounds” were heard at an undisclosed location.
