The Lake Oswego-based Hunger Fighters Oregon seeks donations through its Spring Fundraising Campaign.

The organization hopes to raise $30,000 to help support its food pantry at 4 Monroe Parkway.

According to a press release, 13.84% of students in the Lake Oswego School District qualify for free or reduced lunch. These students lose access to school meals during the summer but Hunger Fighters notes that a $15 donation can feed one person for a month.

The pantry is open from 4-6 p.m. Mondays, 5-7 p.m. Wednesdays and 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Fridays. For more information, visit hungerfightersoregon.org. Visit https://www.hungerfightersoregon.org/donate-spring.html to provide donations.

“Our mission is to provide reliable access to nutritious food and essential hygiene items in an inclusive, accepting environment,” the press release reads.
