Lake Oswego skate park to be temporarily closed for a few days next week

The city of Lake Oswego will temporarily close the Rassekh Park skate park from Tuesday, Sept. 3 through Friday, Sept. 6 to install the nearby restroom building.

“During this time, construction crews and large equipment will be on-site to complete this much-anticipated improvement and the skatepark will be closed for user safety,” the department wrote via email.

The city said the skate park will reopen Saturday, Sept. 7 and the restroom building, which will include four gender-neutral restrooms (two are fully ADA accessible), will be available during park hours starting the following week.
