Oroville opens cooling center in response to triple-digit temperatures
OROVILLE, Calif. — In the ongoing triple-digit heat wave in the Northstate, cooling centers are more necessary than ever and it seems that the City of Oroville agrees. Teaming up with the Oroville Resource Center a cooling area is now open to the public. Any time the temperature reaches 95 degrees or above locals are welcome to stop by to enjoy the air conditioning, hydrate, and even enjoy a meal.
