Riverside apartments with great views to include affordable units
Overland Property Group is bringing a new 103,510-square-foot, four-story multifamily development to the Scenic Bluff neighborhood northeast of downtown Fort Worth. The Clifton Riverside project will include 94 new residential units with a mix of affordable and market-rate apartments. Overland Property Group is collaborating with several industry-leading partners including Arco National Construction as the general contractor, Legacy Bank & Trust as the lender, Red Stone Equity Partners as syndicator for the investor JP Morgan, and Fort Worth Housing Solutions and the Fort Worth Housing Finance Corporation for subordinate funding. Kansas-based JGR Architects designed the project.

Two suspects arrested after vehicle chase from Fort Worth to White Settlement
WHITE SETTLEMENT, Texas — Two suspects were taken into custody after a vehicle theft in Fort Worth led to a chase that ended in White Settlement. Officer Conley located the stolen car, prompting the suspects to flee, according to a press release from the White Settlement Police Department. The Fort Worth Police Department assisted with the chase once the vehicle left White Settlement. The suspect vehicle then re-entered White Settlement, where the suspects bailed out at the intersection of White Settlement Road and Lockwood.

Fort Worth native and Nolan Catholic graduate NaNa Osafo-Mensah returns home for his sixth collegiate season after five years with the Notre Dame Fighting Irish. A four-star defensive end in the Class of 2019, he was coveted by every program nationally out of high school. In those five years in South Bend, Osafa-Mensah accumulated 48 total tackles with five sacks and a forced fumble, with his best season coming in 2023 where he put up three sacks and 5.5 tackles for loss. Joining a Horned Frogs defense under new coordinator Andy Avalos, Osafo-Mensah looks to contribute to the rebuilt defensive front, projected to join Paul Oyewale at the defensive end spot.
MSU target, 3-star RB Jon Denman commits to TCU
TCU has beaten out the Spartans for a running back prospect in the 2025 class. Jon Denman of Palestine, Texas announced his commitment to TCU on Saturday evening. Denman is a three-star running back and picked the Horned Frogs over the following other finalists: Michigan State, Oklahoma State, Arizona, Houston and Boston College.
