State Lanes Bowling Alley closed its doors for good on June 1st, 2018, after the owners could no longer afford to keep it open. The community hoped investors would swoop in at some point and resurrect the bowling alley, which first opened in 1959, but unfortunately, that never happened.

Blue Water Traditional Powwow coming to Port Huron
A variety of Native American dance styles will be performed on Aug. 17, when the Blue Water Traditional Powwow is held at the Fort Gratiot Lighthouse in Port Huron.
