City Takes Step To Acquire Current Warsaw Chemical Site For Future Innovation Center
WARSAW — A resolution OK’d Monday, July 1, by the Warsaw Redevelopment Commission approves the authorization for the commission to acquire the Warsaw Chemical property on Argonne Road for an amount not to exceed $6.5 million. It also approves the form of agreement for the real estate purchase.
Therapy dog joins Warsaw city hall, offers emotional support
WARSAW — Warsaw is now one of three Indiana cities with a therapy dog that’s become a regular face in city hall. The opportunity arose after Whitney Olson, who works in the mayor’s office as an administrative assistant and happens to train dogs in her off time, transferred ownership of her 7-year-old black lab to Staci Young, assistant to the mayor last year.

WARSAW — Warsaw Community Public Library has a fun-packed July planned for everyone. From crafts and games to educational talks, there’s something for all ages. We have tons of events planned for kids and families. Start the month with Karen Land’s Dog Mushing Presentation at 6 p.m. Tuesday, July 2. Learn about dog sledding and meet a real sled dog. Adventure Escape Rooms are scheduled from July 16-19. Available time slots start at 10:30 a.m. each day. Work together to solve puzzles and escape the room.
