Holiday Municipal Fireworks Displays Continue Tonight
UNDATED (WHTC-AM/FM, July 4, 2024) – Looking for fireworks shows to celebrate the Independence Day holiday?. While perhaps the largest show in West Michigan isn’t until Saturday evening in Grand Rapids over Ah-Nab-Awen Park, the explosives went off on Wednesday night over Allegan, Green Lake near Wayland, and South Haven. The actual July 4 municipal holiday presentations are over Lake Macatawa in Holland, as well as Allendale, Grand Haven, Grandville, and Hopkins. On Friday, Saugatuck/Douglas has its fireworks over Kalamazoo Lake, and joining the Calder City in waiting until Saturday to shoot off the explosives are Dorr and Gun Lake.
