Fire destroys building in Moore County, damages nearby home
An overnight fire in Moore County destroyed one structure and damaged another one. Monday just after 1 a.m., firefighters were dispatched to the 100 block of Chestnut Street in Cameron. When they arrived, one structure was fully engulfed in flames. Crews also had to deal with a downed power line in front of the structure. A house next to the first structure had heat damage to its vinyl siding.
Murder suspect arrested in Myrtle Beach-area nightclub parking lot shooting
HORRY COUNTY, SC (WMBF) - Months after a deadly shooting at a Myrtle Beach area nightclub, police have arrested the suspected shooter. Kevin Gause, of Hoffman, North Carolina, was booked into the J. Reuben Long Detention Center on Tuesday on a murder charge by an extradition company. It’s unclear where Gause was extradited from.
