    FBI, police looking for older, female suspect in Lakewood bank robbery

    DENVER ( KDVR ) – Police are looking for a female suspect allegedly involved in a Lakewood bank robbery on Tuesday.

    According to an X post from Denver Metro Crime Stoppers , the robbery took place at a FirstBank at 3500 South Wadsworth Boulevard in Lakewood.

    The suspect allegedly verbally demanded money and threatened a weapon. The FBI Rocky Mountain Safe Street Task Force and the Lakewood Police Department are looking for the suspect and provided photos.

    The Crime Stoppers posted details of the suspect. The suspect is described as white, female, 50-70 years old, and 5 feet, 3-8 inches tall, with a thin build.

    Anyone with information is asked to contact the Denver Metro Crime Stoppers at 720-913-7867 to earn up to $2,000. To remain anonymous and qualify for the reward, tipsters must contact the tip line or submit online. The tip line is answered 24 hours a day, seven days a week.
