The suspect vehicle continued driving east onto Interstate 76, and while attempting to exit the highway near Pecos Street, the suspect crashed. There, Lakewood police took a 19-year-old driver into custody and booked the driver into the Jefferson County Jail.

During the pursuit, the victims of the initial report made their way to the Wheat Ridge Police Department to make a report.

Lakeside police said Wednesday that there were no shots fired and no injuries reported.

Police said they believe this all stemmed from some kind of road rage incident.
