    Man arrested after alleged DUI crash on South Fairfax Road: CHP

    BAKERSFIELD, Calif. (KGET) — One man was arrested after colliding into a Ford pickup north of Lamont and causing minor injuries, while allegedly driving drunk, according to the CHP.

    On July 5, the California Highway Patrol responded to the scene of a two-vehicle traffic collision at the intersection of South Fairfax Road and East Panama Lane, at about 2:10 a.m. Jose Hernandez, 28, was arrested for allegedly driving under the influence of alcohol causing injury, according to CHP Officer Tomas Martinez.

    The Kern County Sheriff’s Office Inmate Information page shows Hernandez was also driving without a license.

    Hernandez was driving a black Volkswagen Jetta when he crashed into the red Ford pickup. The driver and two passengers in the Ford pickup were treated with minor injuries and one was taken to the hospital, according to CHP.
