LaMoure Bounces Back to Win District 6 Babe Ruth Title
After dropping the first game of the championship round 11-3 to Edgeley, LaMoure rode the arm of Easton Theilges to a 10-3 win in game number two. Edgeley’s Drew Entzi, with two outs, laced a double to the gap to take a 3-2 lead in the top of the second inning. LaMoure, however, would quickly rally to take a 4-3 lead in the middle stages of the ballgame. An inspired LaMoure lineup and a series of defensive miscues by Edgeley would allow LaMoure to stretch their advantage out to 9-3 before they tacked on a final run in the bottom of the sixth to make it 10-3.
