Public Records: Fairfield County restaurant inspections

The following are restaurant inspections with critical violations, as conducted by the Fairfield County Health Department from May 27 to June 7.

June 4

L-City Pop-Up Coffee, 153 Union St., Lancaster. Observed a spray bottle of chemicals not labeled.

Bootleggers of Lancaster, 147 W. Main St., Lancaster. Observed slimy residue and small larvae in the soda gun holster.

J.D. Henderson's Sports Lounge, 204 S. Columbus St., Lancaster. Observed brown residue in the ice machine.

Olive Garden, 2093 Schorr Way Drive, Lancaster. The person in charge (PIC) is unable to demonstrate knowledge by having no critical violations. Observed an open sore on an employee's arm that was not covered and protected. Observed two containers of shredded cheese on the prep table located under the heat lamp that were out of temperature. Observed many foods in the walk-in cooler that were not date-marked.

June 5

Stu's Place, 434 N. Columbus St., Lancaster. Observed wiping cloths stored in the handwashing sink and brown, slimy residue in the ice machine.

Primrose Retirement Community of Lancaster, 1481 Wesley Way, Lancaster. Observed cutting board on hot well table to be dirty.

June 6

Chipotle Mexican Grill #0750, 1608 N. Memorial Drive, Lancaster. Observed many food containers in the walk-in refrigerator that were not date-marked.

Amanda Clearcreek Primary, 328 E. Main St., Amanda. Follow-up inspection. The dishwasher water temperature is unable to reach temperatures above 160 F.

June 7

Fred's Food Market, 700 Reese Ave., Lancaster. Observed steaks date marked with a sell-by date of June 6.
