Despite Recent Gains, Wyoming Farmland Values Show Signs of Slowing
Farmland values in Wyoming have made modest gains over the past six months according to the latest Benchmark Farm Value Trends Report issued by Farm Credit Services of America (FCSAmerica) and Frontier Farm Credit. Values for Wyoming farmland have shown an average increase of 2.7% in the past six months and 5.1% in the past 12 months.

Trial for Sheridan Man Charged with Aggravated Assault and Battery Remains Scheduled for Next Month
A pretrial conference for Brice Graves of Sheridan was held this past Thursday in Fourth Judicial District Court. Graves is scheduled to go to trial on August 19 for the charge of aggravated assault and battery. Public Defender Anna Malmberg said at the hearing that the State did submit an offer for a plea agreement, but that her client (Graves) still had some questions and issues that he wanted to discuss with her about the plea deal.

Columbia Falls' Azzy Lara is second in the bareback riding average with a total score of 149, trailing Texas cowboy Kash Loyd at 152.5. Sheridan, Wyoming's Abagail Olson is second in the barrel racing average with a toatl of 34.448 seconds. She trails Utah's Morgan Beckstrom's 34.1 seconds.
