CHEYENNE – Cheyenne East graduate Bricen Baktamarian placed third in trap shooting at the National High School Finals Rodeo on Saturday in Rock Springs. Baktamarian hit 196 of the 200 clays he fired his shot gun at, and finished third after a shoot-off with South Dakota’s Jude Sargent. Brandon Heck of Arkansas won the competition by hitting 198. Baktamarian was tied for second after the first go-round by hitting 99 of 100 clays. There were 149 trap shooters entered in the competition. Public Help Sought In Finding Missing Laramie Man
Laramie Police are asking for the public's help finding a missing man last seen two weeks ago. That is according to a post on the Laramie Police Department's Facebook page. According to the post, no one has seen or heard from Nash Quinn (above photo) since July 8, and attempts to contact him have been unsuccessful. He likes to ride his bike in the Pilot Hill area, Roger's Canyon, and up the summit to the Happy Jack area, according to the post.
