Driver of crashed “makeshift off-road vehicle” arrested for unrelated charges
A man suspected of crashing a makeshift off-road vehicle into a fence was arrested for an outstanding warrant for failing to appear in court. At around 7:30 p.m. on Monday evening (July 1), County Sheriff’s deputies say they received a report of a vehicle colliding with a fence in the 57000 block of San Andreas Road in Yucca Valley. Deputies described the vehicle as “made from quad parts,” and was reported as carrying two occupants. According to the Sheriff’s logs, the passenger was ejected from the vehicle as a result of the crash.
