Barton Co. Health Department to feature new mural celebrating healthcare heroes
The Barton Arts Movement (BAM) is thrilled to announce the launch of an inspiring new mural project at the Barton County Health Department. This vibrant artwork will celebrate the dedication of our healthcare heroes, highlight community health, and promote various wellness initiatives. Designed by the talented Carr, Kerr, & Co., a dynamic duo from the Manhattan area who are known for their color-block artistry, this mural is set to become a bright spot in our community.

Kansas volleyball closes out dominant weekend with sweep over Colgate
The No. 13 Kansas Jayhawks locked up a third straight weekend win on Sunday, cruising to a 3-0 sweep over the Colgate Raiders behind a standout performance from senior outside hitter Ayah Elnady. Elnady finished the match with 12 kills and three digs, as the four-year starter from Cairo continues to build on a historic career in crimson and blue.

The Kansas football team had no trouble taking care of business against the Lindenwood Lions this past Thursday, cruising to a 48-3 victory in the season opener. Early in the second quarter, redshirt junior running back Daniel Hishaw Jr. took a third-down run to the 1-yard line. A Lindenwood defender pushed him out of bounds right before he was able to cross the pylon, and Hishaw lost his balance until he crashed into a woman on the sidelines. See it for yourself:
