Brigade win game one of the Cowdin Cup championship series
The Junction City brigade defeated the Topeka Warhawks 8-6 in the opening game of the Cowdin Cup championship series Friday night at Rathert Field in Junction City. Game two of the best two out of three series will be Saturday night in Topeka. If there is a game three it will be at 7 p.m. Sunday at Rathert Field.

TOPEKA, Kan. (WIBW) - The Topeka U.S. Bank robbery suspect was located in Texas by the Federal Bureau of Investigation. According to the Topeka Police Department officials, as a result of the investigation, on Friday, July 26, officials with the FBI took a suspect into custody without incident in Texas.
