LANSING, Mich. (WLNS) — A car may have crashed twice early Thursday morning in Delhi Township, and deputies with the Ingham County Sheriff’s Department say they believe the driver had been drinking.
Investigators say that a Chrysler sedan drove into a quadplex home at around 2:45 a.m. on the 2100 block of Philips Ave., near the intersection of Kathy Ct.

The driver of the car— a 25-year-old woman from Lansing— crashed into the side of the home around 3 a.m., which was occupied by three adults and three children at the time. No one inside was injured, though someone was sleeping just a few feet away from the crash.
However, a man who lives nearby captured a video of what appears to be the same car crashing into his trailer just moments before,
“The car parts, the part numbers, and the identification manufacturing marks match the vehicle that was stuck in the home over there, so not very often the car hits a home,” said Michael Erskine, who caught the crash on camera. “Especially at 3 in the morning on a Thursday morning in Holt.”
Erskine says that he never thought something like this would happen on his street.
“It’s a very quiet town and very rarely do we have any kind of commotion in the neighborhood at all, so definitely going to be a big deal for the local area,” said Erskine.
Investigators say the driver was taken to a local hospital to be treated for minor injuries. Alcohol is suspected to be a factor in the crash.
