Significant rockfall shuts down State Route 7 at Mingo Junction, repairs underway
JEFFERSON COUNTY, Ohio — A significant rockfall has closed State Route 7 at Mingo Junction for the foreseeable future. Crews will be working around the clock to remove the rock and restore the work zone. Additionally, pavement repairs that may be needed will be completed prior to reopening the road.

West Virginia Northern Community College's Baltimore and Ohio railroad building is now under restoration. Mountaineer Brewfest hopes event will fund renovations, offer free housing for veterans
OHIO COUNTY, WV — The Mountaineer Brewfest committee began cleanup on the Helping Heroes building in Wheeling on Saturday. Their efforts are a part of the 10th annual Mountaineer Brewfest, as the nonprofit was chosen as this year's charity. All funds raised at the event will assist in renovating the Helping Heroes building.
