Chandler Launches DEI Funding Opportunities for Youth Programs and City Events
Chandler's Diversity, Equity & Inclusion Division, along with the city's Human Relations Commission, are again paving the way for community involvement with the launch of their latest funding opportunities, aimed at promoting DEI among youth and at city events, as noted in a recent announcement. Educational mini-grants of up to $1,000 are now available and are targeting programs that support DEI for young people between the ages of 5-18. Chandler-based educators, schools, nonprofits, and community groups providing services locally are encouraged to apply, provided their proposals align with the city's DEI mission, "To cultivate a community and municipal organization that embraces diversity to create a more inclusive and equitable place to live, work and thrive," according to the information made available on Chandler's official website.
