Man arrested and charged with shooting, killing neighbor

Las Vegas, NV (KXNT) – A quiet Summerlin neighborhood was the scene of a Tuesday night homicide

Police were called to an area near Lake Mead and Hillpointe just after 7pm and found a man suffering from gunshot wound lying in the driveway of a residence. He was pronounced dead at the scene.

Investigators say the victim had been in some sort of squabble with a neighbor, identified as 32-year-old Eddi Moreno. They say the dispute escalated to the point where Moreno pulled out a gun and fired the fatal shots.

Moreno is currently being held at the Clark County Detention Center on a charge of Open Murder.

The identity of the victim had not yet been released as of Tuesday afternoon.
