Las Vegas, NV (KXNT) – The Monday morning commute was a deadly one on the valley roads, with three people dying in separate collisions. Speed and recklessness were said to be the major factor in all three.

The first involved two cars racing along northbound Jones at Sahara. One of the participants lost control and rolled over several times. The driver of the car that rolled over was taken to U.M.C. Trauma but passed away. His passenger suffered serious injuries

The driver of the second car that was racing was arrested on reckless driving resulting in death and substantial bodily harm charges

The second one involved a motorcyclist wrecking near Centennial Parkway and Torrey Pines. There were no witnesses to the crash, but investigators working the scene believe the rider failed to make a turn and slammed into a sign. That person was pronounced dead at the scene.

Then just after 9am, a crash involving 4 vehicles left one person dead near Nellis and Desert Inn. Several others were hurt.
