Kate Martin's Pregame Outfit Before Aces-Mystics WNBA Showdown Commands Attention

The Las Vegas Aces defeated the Washington Mystics by a score of 88-77 on Saturday.

Beloved Aces rookie Kate Martin finished the game with 3 points (on a made three pointer) in six minutes played.

Yet, Martin still managed to attract attention on Saturday. Although it was with her pregame outfit.

A photo of Martin wearing a hilarious pink Hello Kitty backpack while entering the Mystics' stadium made waves on X Saturday.

Martin paired the pink backpack with a black Aces shirt, black pants, white shoes, and white headphones.

And the photo seems to suggest that Martin was a little bit embarrassed about having to tote that backpack around once more.

This isn't the first time we've seen the Aces rookie with this backpack. It has been a tradition for the Aces' rookies to bring this unique accessory with them to road trips.

And while Martin has not been seen with it during every road game, it has made at least one other appearance this season.

Saturday's result suggests that Martin's backpack might be a good luck charm for Las Vegas.
