Kelsey Plum's Six Words Sum Up A'ja Wilson's Stellar MVP-Caliber Season

There are few people in the world playing better basketball right now than A'ja Wilson.

The Las Vegas Aces star is coming off of a stellar year in 2023, and she has arguably upped her game, averaging over 26 points, 11 rebounds, and 2 blocks per game so far this year.

Twice in the past four seasons, Wilson has won the WNBA MVP award, and her stats this year so far blow away the numbers that she put up in those MVP seasons. So should we expect her to collect the hardware once again in 2024?

Teammate Kelsey Plum certainly thinks that is what the future holds, and after Wilson's performance in the big win over Caitlin Clark and the Indiana Fever on Tuesday night, Plum summed up Wilson's MVP candidacy with a perfect six words.

“Make sure it’s unanimous this year," Plum said after the game.

Wilson is currently the heavy favorite to win the MVP award for a third time this year, though she will have to hold off the likes of Alyssa Thomas, Breanna Stewart, Jonquel Jones, and Napheesa Collier.

If she keeps playing the way she is now, though, there should be no doubt at the end of the season who is taking home the hardware.
