    Apartment fire leaves many without a place to go

    Las Vegas, NV (KXNT) - More than 20 people are now without a place to live after fire broke out at their apartment complex Tuesday.

    The fire broke out near Lake Mead and H Street. No one was hurt, and a cause isn’t yet known.

    The 21 people who have been displaced are being assisted by the American Red Cross, while 6 others whose units were damaged have found other places to stay.

    Meanwhile, it was learned Tuesday that a woman who was seriously injured when her mobile home caught fire on Friday has passed away.

    The fire occurred near Stewart and Pecos. Las Vegas Fire and Rescue originally transported the woman to U.M.C. In critical condition. She passed away from her injuries on Sunday. Her identity has not been released.
