Las Vegas, NV (KXNT) – Las Vegas Metro Police have publicly identified a man they say fled a fatal accident he caused on the Valley’s far east side.

In the early morning hours of Friday, July 5th, police say 20-year-old Luis Angel Equihua Murillo was speeding and ran a red light at the intersection of Charleston and Hollywood, striking a car with two people inside.

19-year-old Julian Torres and 18-year-old Ethan Velasquez were pronounced dead at the scene.

At a media briefing Thursday, Metro for the first time said that they were seeking Equihua-Moreno. Even though the crash happened over a week ago, Metro believes he is still in Las Vegas and want the public’s help to find him.

Anyone with information is urged to call the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department's Collision Investigation Section at (702) 828-3595.

To remain anonymous, call Crime Stoppers at (702) 385-5555, or visit www.crimestoppersofNV.com, or use the mobile app "P3". Message and data rates may apply.

Tips directly leading to a felony arrest or an indictment processed through Crime Stoppers may result in a cash reward.
