WNBA Legend Tina Thompson Shares Postgame Exchange With A'ja Wilson

WNBA legend Tina Thompson made a special appearance at the Las Vegas Aces versus Chiaco Sky matchup on Tuesday. Following the 93-85 victory for the Sky, MVP frontrunner A'ja Wilson met with Thompson on the sideline.

Wilson shared a moment with Thompson, displaying the mutual respect between the two. The Las Vegas center may have picked up the loss, but she was able to share a conversation with the four-time WNBA Champion.

The Aces' All-Star ended the game with 28 points and 14 rebounds. Before the loss to the Sky, forcing the Aces to fall to a 1 6-8 record , Wilson was averaging 27.2 points, 11.9 rebounds, and 2.8 blocks per game.

Thompson is one of the most decorated women's basketball players in league history. In addition to her four WNBA titles, she is a nine-time WNBA All-Star and three-time All-WNBA First Team player.

It's unclear what Thompson and Wilson may have spoken about after the Aces' loss, but it's certainly a legendary collaboration.

The Tuesday night matchup for Las Vegas marked their final contest before the WNBA All-Star game on July 20 in Phoenix, Arizona.

The Aces will send Wilson, along with Kelsey Plum, Chelsea Gray, and Jackie Young, to the Team USA women's basketball select team, which will compete against Team WNBA at the All-Star game.
