LAS VEGAS (KLAS) — Nevada Highway Patrol is celebrating 75 years of public service and in its honor, they are commemorating by announcing their entry into the “Best Looking Cruiser” contest.

NHP’s participation in the 11th annual “Best Looking Cruiser,” contest is organized by the American Association of State Troopers. Their submission includes a photo taken in downtown Las Vegas, showcasing a 1990 Ford Mustang alongside a 2024 Ford Mustang. The choice of the two models of the cars is meant to symbolize, “the blend of [their] storied past and promising future,” as emphasized by the NHP.

In gold lettering on top of the photo, the NHP has written, “Make history leave a legacy,” to reflect their core mission and values through their submission.
