Nobody is saying the Las Vegas Raiders are primed to put together a Super Bowl run at some point in the next few years, but the team is in a good spot to at least be competitive moving forward.

While the quarterback situation remains a concern, the Raiders have a better roster situation overall than a lot of teams when it comes to their outlook in the next few years.

Knowing that, it's shocking to see ESPN place Las Vegas dead-last in its future NFL power rankings . Stunningly, ESPN also ranked the Raiders' overall roster minus the quarterback at 31st.

The outlet also ranked the Raiders' quarterback situation as the worst in the league (hello, New York Giants), and the coaching and front office at No. 29 and No. 28, respectively.

It's certainly fair to question a new coaching staff and general manager, so we won't go crazy over that. Even still, head coach Antonio Pierce did enough during his interim stint last season to garner more respect.

But placing the Raiders' overall roster minus the quarterback as the second-worst in the NFL is silly. The Raiders will have a top-10 defense this coming season and that should be good enough for a higher ranking in and of itself.

And, combined with the talent Las Vegas has on offense, that should further help the Raiders secure a higher spot in ESPN's rankings.
