Why this is the preseason SRS Distribution Las Vegas Bowl Projection

The options here are all over the place.

Unlike other bowls that have tie-ins to the old Pac-12 affiliations, this one should have a bit more room depending on just how strong the SEC opponent is.

Go ahead and name your middle of the pack SEC program to get here, but no matter what, it probably won’t represent itself worse than Florida did in 2022 - Oregon State 30, Gators 3 - the last time the SEC was in.

On the flip side, this will probably be a disappointing destination for the former Pac-12er who’s in, but a few teams from the Big Ten and Big 12 will need a home.
