A sad day for Morgan Wallen fans who hoping the mystery country music bar on the Las Vegas strip would be his.

In April this year, the Las Vegas Review-Journal reported on the opening of a “Vegas Country Music Restaurant,” which many presumed was going to be Morgan Wallen’s second location of This Bar & Tennessee Kitchen.

However, today, the Las Vegas Review-Journal ended their speculation when a source confirmed that the country bar belongs to Jason Aldean. The location is on the 63rd floor of 3716 Las Vegas Blvd. South is reportedly a $9.8 million project occupying 10,000 square feet.

This will be the fourth location of Jason Aldean’s Kitchen + Rooftop Bar, with Nashville, Gatlinburg, and Pittsburgh, which opened earlier this year.

The source that confirmed the tie to Jason Aldean for the forthcoming restaurant and bar did not have information regarding the menu or space decor. However, given that Aldean kept a similar Southern comfort food menu at his most recent Pennsylvania location, one could assume he will bring a taste of the South to the Las Vegas Strip.

The location of this venture has a personal tie for Aldean as he was on stage in 2017 when a gunman entered the crowd of the Route 91 Music Festival, killing 60 people and injuring hundreds of others. The deadliest mass shooting in American history.

“I truly don’t understand why a person would want to take the life of another. Something has changed in this country and in this world lately that is scary to see. This world is becoming the kind of place I am afraid to raise my children in…”

He shared in an Instagram post after the tragic day seven years ago.

Since the shooting, Aldean has funded trauma workshops for survivors of the event and released a documentary with Paramount+, 11 MINUTES, that relives the event.
