This is a wild story out of Murfreesboro and the bad guy almost got away with it.. if it weren’t for those pesky lottery officials!. A million dollar lottery ticket was stolen in Murfreesboro after the clerk tried to claim it for himself! So essentially what happened is a guy bought 2 lottery tickets and instead of scratching the whole card, he just scratched the barcode so it could be scanned.. that’s just a quicker way to find out if you’re a winner so you don’t have to waste time scratching if you don’t want to.
Be Careful! There May Be A Cougar On The Loose In Smyrna
A man in Smyrna is warning his neighbors that a big cat might be on the loose.. and when I say big cat.. I mean like BIG cat. Over the weekend, the guy named Bruce woke up to his security camera going off and when he checked the footage, he saw what he’s convinced is a cougar. The Tennessee Wildlife Resources Agency says it’s highly unlikely that it would be a cougar because they haven’t had a report of one for 8 years.. however.. I watched the security video.. and it’s looking pretty cougary to me too! The TWRA is saying they think shadows made it look bigger on camera.
