Hill Fire Near Willow Creek Shows Extreme Fire Behavior
Fire officials continue to seek out and eliminate small fires resulting from lightning strikes that touched down earlier this week on the Shasta-Trinity, Klamath and Six Rivers National Forests. At least 97 fires were sparked by lightning over the weekend, but most were very limited in size and were challenging only due to their remote locations.
