Less than two months after kidnapping a woman, a fugitive has done it again, say police in the Columbus, Ohio , area. Quinntel Maurice Bagley, 38, who fled from cops in mid-June, allegedly reemerged to abduct the same person as before.

Cops in Grove City said Friday that in the morning, the woman said Bagley kidnapped her from her home and drove her to the west side of the nearby city of Columbus.

“The female stated she was able to get away from Bagley unharmed,” they wrote. “She last saw Bagley near Eureka Ave and West Broad Street. Bagley has a history with this female, including a recent kidnapping offense on June 13, 2024.”

Police previously said that Bagley abducted the same woman from her home the early morning of June 13. They found her car abandoned, and hours later, found her at a local gas station. They soon arrested Bagley, who once served 10 years in prison for charges including kidnapping. In exchange, charges including rape were reportedly dropped, according to Columbus NBC affiliate WCMH . He is currently on the Ohio sex offender registry.

Bodycam from June shows Grove City cops escorting Bagley out of Fairfield Medical Center in the city of Lancaster. Handcuffed behind his back, he managed to yank himself out of an officer’s grip and sprinted away through a parking area.

Authorities recently announced a total of $10,000 reward for information leading to his capture. U.S. Marshals ask that anyone with information call their Columbus office at 614-469-5540. They described him as armed and dangerous, suicidal and an escape risk.

In June, Lancaster police said Bagley stood an even 6 feet, weighed 212 pounds, had black hair and had brown eyes. At the time, he wore a black shirt and black shorts.
