    Lawrence police searching for bank robbery suspect

    KANSAS CITY, Mo. — The Lawrence Police Department is investigating an “alleged” robbery at a Bank of America Tuesday morning.

    According to officers, the robbery took place around 9:20 a.m. at 900 Ohio Street where a man wearing a black beanie, a black mask with a design on it, and possibly all black clothing attempted to rob the bank.

    Lawrence police are searching for a suspect in connection to a robbery at a Bank of America in Lawrence, Kan. on Tuesday, July 2, 2024.

    Police said the man fled southbound from the bank down an alley between Tenessee and Ohio Street.

    No injuries have been reported, police said, and Lawrence PD is currently on the scene.
