Vicksburg 3rd grader at Tobey has perfect attendance
A Tobey Elementary student completed the 2023-24 academic year without missing a day of school. Claire Grubbs, daughter of Roman and Erica Grubbs, was a third-grade student who defied the odds and put together an unblemished attendance record. She was recognized during the board of education’s June 10 meeting.
’98 alumnus selected as Schoolcraft superintendent
On July 1, a familiar face returns to Schoolcraft Schools as the district’s new superintendent: Nate Ledlow. Ledlow, a 1998 Schoolcraft graduate, presented an impressive resume to the school board. He graduated from WMU with a bachelor’s degree in secondary education in 2002, a master’s degree in educational leadership in 2009 and a PhD in educational leadership in 2022.
