Elsmere repeals negotiations with Flagship Communities REIT
Elsmere City Council called a special meeting last week to repeal a municipal order passed last year concerning negotiations with Flagship Communities REIT. The order authorized the city to acquire 18 acres of Heartland Pointe, a real estate property owned by Flagship Communities REIT at 1630 Garvey Ave., with the aim of constructing a public works facility and a public park at the location. The council approved the order’s repeal with no further comment.
