IRVINGTON — Five neglected pit bulls were rescued from an abandoned home in the Essex County Township, according to a report by News 12. The Best Friend Dog and Animal Adoption in Cranford was first alerted to two dogs left outside the property on July 3. CHATHAM, NJ -- Chatham's enrollment is holding steady at 3,525 students heading into the upcoming 2024-2025 school year as reported by Mary Donohue, assistant superintendent, at the July 15 regular meeting of the Chatham Board of Education.
