The Tri-City United baseball team hosted Faribault Monday evening before traveling to Watertown-Mayer the following day as the regular season winds down. The Titans defeated the Falcons 3-0 behind a complete-game two hit effort from Parker O’Malley before TCU fell to the overpowering offense of Royals 14-4.

With the results, the Titans record is now 8-10 (3-8 MRC) with just two games remaining on the regular season schedule.

In the 3-0 victory over Faribault, runs were scored when Max Krautkremer hit an RBI single in the first, Keegan O’Meara hit an RBI single in the third and Reggie Vosejpka drilled an RBI double in the fourth.

O’Malley earned the complete game victory on the mound needing to only throw 90 pitches, striking out four while allowing just the two hits.

Watertown-Mayer wasted no time Tuesday getting on the board, scoring 10 runs through the first two innings while TCU’s four runs all come in the fifth.

The remaining schedule for TCU will see them travel to Belle Plaine Wednesday May 15, before going to Triton Thursday night.
