The Lebanon City Police Department is searching for a 27-year-old woman who was allegedly involved in an assault over the weekend in which the victim was stabbed multiple times.

Shakira Borrero-Rosario was charged with aggravated assault after an investigation into the incident that occurred on July 27, 2024. Officers said an arrest warrant has been issued, and her current whereabouts are unknown.

"Borrero-Rosario and the victim were known to each other, and this was not a random act of violence," police said in a release Thursday.

At 8:50 p.m. July 27, police responded to the Good Samaritan Hospital for a report of an assault victim.  Upon arrival, officers discovered the assault victim had been stabbed several times. A preliminary investigation revealed that the assault occurred in the 800 block of Church St.

The victim is in stable condition and is expected to recover, according to police.

Anyone with information on Borrero-Rosario's whereabouts is asked to contact the Lebanon City Police Department at 717-272-6611 or submit a tip through Crimewatch.
