North Adams Man Charged with Murder in 2017 Stabbing
PITTSFIELD, Mass. — A North Adams man has been charged with murder after the death of a man he stabbed seven years ago. Travis T. Perras, 31, was indicted last week on a charge of first degree murder in the death of Charles Sauer of North Adams. He entered a plea of not guilty before Judge John Agostini on Thursday and was ordered held without bail.
Pittsfield Teen Charged with Armed Assault Following North Street Shooting
An 18-year-old Pittsfield man has been arrested and charged in connection with a shooting that occurred on the corner of North and Bradford street last month, authorities said. On June 14, 2024, just after 5 p.m., Pittsfield Police Department officers responded to reports of gunfire and discovered two men with gunshot wounds. The victims were quickly transported to Berkshire Medical Center, treated for their injuries, and released, according to a police department statement.
Convicted murderer sentenced on contraband charge in Columbia County

Mass. driver charged in crash WHITINGHAM- A Cheshire, MA, resident was arrested following a crash on Route 100 at about 12:57 am on Friday, June 28. Police say when they arrived on the scene and spoke with the driver, Nakiya Harrison-Hubbard, they observed signs of impairment. She was subsequently arrested for suspicion of driving under the influence and brought to Wilmington Police Department where she was processed, issued a citation, and released. Harrison-Hubbard is scheduled to appear at Windham Criminal Court on Tuesday, July 16, to answer the charge.
