South Hadley man arrested following police pursuit
SOUTH HADLEY, MA (WGGB/WSHM) – One person is under arrest after leading police on a pursuit through two Hampshire County towns. South Hadley Police Chief Jennifer Gundersen said that their department received a 911 call shortly before 2 p.m. Thursday from a 25-year-old South Hadley man who was threatening to take his own life, that he wanted to die by police, and “if any officers approached him, he would shoot the police officers.”
